I applied full marauders not because the extra health is always gonna save you but because it is nice to have and you don't care about min maxing dps. On top of that, depending on your build there might be incentive to swap through one attunement over another to get a specific boon or for condi cleanse or something. So to approach anything like a rotation you want to figure out which skills are priority for dps, which are priority for breakbars and which are fields or finishers. Mostly it comes down to whether you're condi, power or hybrid and whether it's full dps time or you need to sprinkle in cc. Being cc feels terrible anywhere and doubly so on long channels like meteors.Īs far as rotations for weaver, there's no way to explain that in a reddit comment.

I like water and arcane lines for sustain over max dps because you can have a lot of small incidental heals and cleanse as you swap attunements. For open world I just use my wvw build with the spinny stun break, lightning flash and armor of earth.

I don't think I'd use staff in story since you can't rely on other players meat shielding you and staff ele wants to free cast. I really like the 'dual' skills on staff and being able to swap your attunement halfway makes staff flow a lot better than it did with tempest.
